Budismo, meditação e cultura de paz | Lama Padma Samten

“CEBB”, or “Bodhisattva Buddhist Studies Center” is a Brazilian Buddhist organization focused on the study and practice of Buddhism. It was founded by Lama Padma Samten, a Brazilian physicist and Buddhist teacher, who is a disciple of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, a master of the Tibetan Buddhist Nyingma tradition.

The CEBB approach combines traditional Buddhist teachings with a modern perspective, making it accessible to a contemporary audience. It aims to offer a path for spiritual development and personal transformation based on Buddhist principles, emphasizing compassion, wisdom, and mindfulness.

Here’s a brief overview of how CEBB works:

  1. Teachings and Practices: CEBB offers various teachings, practices, and meditation sessions based on Tibetan Buddhism. These include foundational teachings on mindfulness, compassion, and the nature of mind, as well as more advanced practices for experienced practitioners.
  2. Centers and Groups: The organization has various centers and study groups across Brazil. These centers serve as hubs for teaching, meditation, and community activities. They are open to anyone interested in learning about Buddhism or engaging in Buddhist practice.
  3. Community and Engagement: CEBB is not just about individual practice; it’s also about building a community. Activities often include group meditations, retreats, volunteer work, and social projects, reflecting the Buddhist principle of engaged action in the world.

  1. Accessibility and Inclusivity: One of the key aspects of CEBB is its focus on making Buddhist teachings accessible and relevant to modern life. The teachings are offered in a way that is inclusive and understandable, regardless of one’s background or previous experience with Buddhism.
  2. Online Resources: In today’s digital age, CEBB also provides online resources, including teachings, meditation guides, and articles, making it easier for people to access Buddhist wisdom from anywhere.
