O que a meditação tem a ver com a fotografia?
Nesta oficina, o experiente fotógrafo, Zé Paiva, vai mostrar que fotografia e meditação tem muito a ver. Alternando dinâmicas de meditação e sessões de fotografia, o grupo vai descobrir como produzir imagens que vão além dos condicionamentos usuais do nosso olhar.
Inspirado nos ensinamentos do mestre tibetano Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche e do Lama Padma Samten, Paiva propõe uma abordagem da fotografia desvinculada dos padrões e regras usuais, através de diferentes dinâmicas que serão desenvolvidas.
Não é necessária nenhuma experiência prévia em meditação nem curso de fotografia. Pode ser usada qualquer câmera. A ideia da oficina é despertar a sensibilidade da fotografia com uma atitude contemplativa.
CRONOGRAMA:
Sexta-feira: 19 às 21h – roda de conversa e apresentação inicial.
Sábado: 9h às 12h – Introdução a fotografia contemplativa e arte na visão do Dharma – inspirado nos mestres Chögyam Trungpa (Tibete), Lama Padma Samten (Brasil) e Sensei Kazuaki Tanahashi (Japão). Na segunda parte teremos uma meditação guiada e prática fotográfica.
14h às 18h – Introdução ao conceito de co-emergência e sua aplicação à fotografia. Na segunda parte teremos uma meditação guiada e prática fotográfica.
Domingo: 9h às 12h – Introdução a técnicas criativas de fotografia. Na segunda parte teremos uma meditação guiada e prática fotográfica. Compartilhamento das imagens produzidas durante a oficina com comentários de Paiva e encerramento.
MATERIAL NECESSÁRIO: Uma câmera de qualquer modelo (pode celular também). Um tripé se tiver. Roupas confortáveis para meditar.

SOBRE O PROFESSOR: José Luiz Martins (Zé) Paiva trocou a engenharia pela fotografia após uma longa viagem pela Europa e norte da África em 1983. Em 2012 concluiu sua Pós-Graduação em Fotografia pela UNIVALI. Ensinou fotografia na UDESC, FURB e ESPM. Em 2009 foi selecionado para a coleção Pirelli/MASP de fotografia. Em 2012 recebeu o Prêmio Marc Ferrez da FUNARTE. Publicou os livros Expedição Natureza Santa Catarina (2005), Expedição Natureza Gaúcha (2008) e Expedição Natureza Tocantins (2012). É aluno do Lama Padma Samten desde 2010 e desde 2016 vive na aldeia budista Mendjila em Canelinha-SC.

The Middle Way School has welcomed many students over the last 15 years and was delighted to graduate its first 9th grade class in 2022. Operating in a community and a forest, its pedagogical approach is centered on cultivating the inner world, fostering relationships and integrating with nature. Projects and Dreams of the Bodisatva
Bodisatva is a communication platform at the service of budismo em solo brasileiro and has dedicated its efforts to translating and disseminating wisdom content from authentic lineages in Portuguese, but also to publishing texts produced by masters and practitioners from our own country. The creator of Bodisatva is the first Brazilian to be ordained as a lama in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, Lama Padma Samten. Based on his vision and confidence that the Buddha's millenary teachings can improve our lives not only individually but collectively, Bodisatva emerged as a vehicle for Buddhism and world transformation: the first magazine of Buddhist thinking in Brazil. One of Lama Samten's main aspirations is to support practitioners and retreat centers, especially CEBB Caminho do Meio, CEBB Akanishta and CEBB Jetavana, and to welcome students to the Middle Way School.
