Lama Padma Samten, Lama Glenn Mullin, Goura Nataraj and guests
November 21st, at 7:30pm (BRT)
in CEBB Sukhavati
How can we, in these challenging times, promote better relations with ourselves, with other people, with the natural environment and with rulers and authorities?
These questions are raised from the viewpoint of the need to build pure lands. As for the pure lands, they come from the perspective that there are better and worse worlds for the development of spiritual clarity and well-being. As practitioners, we can not only carry out our practices, but also support the creation of better worlds.
Crossroads and precipices are always the realities of every age. Today we have many of these challenges and uncertainties. Where should we put our efforts to build better worlds? How to direct our lives in these times? Each speaker will bring their own worldviews and point out skillful ways to take advantage of the present challenges and opportunities.
The book presenting the Surangama Sutra, the Sutra that Preserves the Depth of the Buddha's Dharma, now translated into Portuguese, will also be launched.

In 1993, he was accepted as a disciple by Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and, in 1996, he was ordained a lama.

Dana Paramita | Contribution
CEBB's activities throughout Brazil are supported solely by the traditional means of supporting Buddhist sanghas: donations from its members. At the same time, we practice the principle that no one should be denied access to the Dharma because of financial limitations.

Online Enrolment for people inside Brazil
Your registration and participation ONLINE are independent of any financial contribution. If you aspire to contribute and are able to do so, feel free to set the amount. As a reference, we suggest R$60.00. Your contribution will support Lama Padma Samten's activities.
The practice of Dana Paramita - perfection of generosity - makes it possible to continue the teachings from the time of the Buddha. The six paramitas - generosity, morality, peace, constant energy, concentration and wisdom - inspire the practice and are the generative and sustaining basis of the CEBB Sangha's centers for study, meditation, hospitality and initiatives for education, environmental protection, Pure Lands and the Culture of Peace.
