Yuthok’s Ati Yoga: Liberation of Samsara and Nirvana | Retreat with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang

Yuthok’s Ati Yoga: Liberation of Samsara and Nirvana | Retreat with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
June 26 to 28
CEBB Sukhavati (Quatro Barras – PR, Brazil)

“It is my wish that the unbroken lineage of Ati Yoga will shine as a great and universal light that will eliminate the darkness of suffering. The greater the darkness, the more this light will shine.”

— Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, from Mirror of Light preface

Yuthok’s Ati Yoga: Liberation from Samsara and Nirvana
Dr. Nida Chenagtsang

Ati Yoga points directly to the nature of mind — beyond all constructs of samsara and nirvana. Freedom is not something to be attained, but something to be recognized and realized, moment to moment.

In this rare transmission, Dr. Nida Chenagtsang presents the essential view, meditation, and application of Ati Yoga as transmitted by Yuthok Yönten Gönpo, the father of Tibetan Medicine and the Yuthok Nyingthig, a unique Rimé Vajrayana lineage deeply connected to the healing sciences. Rooted in the Dzogchen tradition, these teachings of the Great Connection guide practitioners to reconnect with their innate nature — the inseparable unity of clarity and emptiness.

Moving beyond effort and striving, Ati Yoga reveals liberation as already present. Through instruction, guided meditation, and experiential integration, participants are invited to rest in natural awareness and embody this recognition within the flow of everyday life.

Open to dedicated practitioners, this program offers a rare opportunity to receive these profound instructions within an authentic, living lineage where spiritual realization and healing are intimately intertwined.

The support for all CEBB activities throughout Brazil comes solely from the traditional means of sustaining Buddhist sanghas: the donations of its participants. At the same time, we practice the principle that no one should be denied access to the Dharma due to financial limitations.

The practice of Dana Paramita – the perfection of generosity – makes it possible for the teachings to continue from the time of the Buddha onward. The six paramitas – generosity, morality, peace, constant diligence, concentration, and wisdom – inspire the practice and form the generative and sustaining foundation of the study centers, meditation, welcoming, and the initiatives in education, environmental protection, Pure Lands, and the Culture of Peace of the CEBB Sanga.
